charming stay!
comfortable room cute lady free parking good bakery
the family room on the third floor was very comfortable (though there is no lift). the lady at reception was very cute. the hotel is full of charm. i was grateful for the nearby tesco that offers three hours of free parking. the nearby "j'adore" bakery was a good option for breakfast.
the only contact i had with staff was on arrival when i was shown to my room by the manager and given my key, i missed a follow up on my comfort.

street noise lack of elevator
the only real downside was the lack of an elevator (i was in a 'superior queen room'). carrying my luggage up several flights of stairs was not fun. also, the noise from the street at night was noticeable, even with the windows closed. street noise, lack of elevator

convenient location excellent food helpful staff
the location on leytonstone high road is very convenient and it is a short walk to the tube station the pub offered excellent food and the service was great it was quite busy due to the bank holiday but i got a table for two the staff were lovely and helpful

coffee machine stocked bathroom comfortable room
the location was very good though we stayed due to a gig. the room was very comfortable. it had everything i needed complete with a coffee machine. the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries like shower gel, shampoo and conditioner.
The only contact i had with staff was on arrival. No checks to see if i was comfortable were made.

Adequate Stay With Drawbacks
dimly lit stairs missing plug
The stairs to the room were dimly lit. This proved challenging as it was on the second floor and accessible only by several flights of stairs. It was not a convenient arrangement. The washbasin lacked a plug. This made filling the basin impossible. There was also a deficiency regarding clothes storage.
